Hartex was engaged as the trusted mechanical services subcontractor to ADCO for the Brisbane Metro Depot – a key infrastructure project supporting Brisbane City Council’s rollout of an all-electric, zero emissions bus fleet.

Working collaboratively with stakeholders, Hartex helped develop tailored solutions to ensure efficient servicing and maintenance capabilities for the fleet. The scope included the design, installation, and ongoing maintenance of a range of advanced workshop systems.

Scope of Works:

  • Design and installation of a 2-bay, 26m-long suspended ceiling pit.
  • Fully automated truck wash system with integrated water recycling.
  • 50-tonne HDS scissor lift installation.
  • In-floor jacking systems – both T-bar and lift-at-wheel types.
  • Frame puller system for heavy vehicle repair.
  • Gap compensator integrated with the roof access platform, enhancing safety during roof-level servicing – the first of its kind implemented in Australia.
